Analysts say the average price for a gallon of regular is up to $1.78. Six months ago, it was more than $4 a gallon.
AAA Georgia said today’s average statewide price for a gallon of regular is $1.68.
The national average is 11 cents higher.
The statewide price of midgrade is $1.81 a gallon and the price of premium is $1.89 a gallon.
