Dear Editor:

We would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank you” for your support in making the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners a big success.

LaGrange and Troup County are not where you would expect to see people that are hungry and homeless. We’re sure you would find it shocking to know that there are hungry people in our community. Thanks to you, we were able to provide traditional home-cooked Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with all the trimmings for many less fortunate citizens in our community.

Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers, those who gave donations and those who prepared food. For whatever part you played, large or small we say “Thank You.” The Bible says’ in Leviticus 26:8, “And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight.” Having you there really made the difference!
