She was born in Marshall County, Alabama daughter of the late Minnie Dabbs Moore and Ocie Moore. She was preceded in death by a son, Osburn Atchley. She was a loving mother, a hard worker and brought joy to many with her wonderful sense of humor.
A graveside funeral service was held 10 o’clock today at Wake Forest Town Cemetery with Dr. Steve Ladd officiating.
Mrs. Davis is survived by a son, Hassel Atchley of Alabama; daughters, Zoya Maxine Pike Atkinson of Cary, N.C. and Debbie Davis Ladd of Wake Forest, N.C. and grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
