William Clinton and Cheryl Lynn Lawson announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Leigh Lawson, to James Spencer Merna, son of James Steven Merna and Scott and Barry Nell Smith.
The wedding will be 5 p.m. Saturday at Concord Baptist Church.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gerald Alan and Carole Williams Edwards, and the late David Albert McCann Sr. and Sherilyn Esther McCann of Lakeland, Fla. She is a graduate of LaGrange High School and West Georgia Technical College and works as a stylist at Salon Bella.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late James Shirley Merna, Mary Joyce Merna of Valley, Ala., Donald Ray Dagenhart of Valley, Phillip Aubrey Smith, Betty Joyce Smith, L. Pat Cooper and Nancy Cooper. He is a graduate of LaGrange High School and West Georgia Technical College and works as an assistant project manager at Merna Painting and Coating.
