Miss Troup County Katie Grego and Miss Troup Teen Mitzi Anderson were given a send-off Thursday in preparation for the Miss Georgia Pageant, June 23 in Columbus. The Troup County representatives will head south June 16 for a week of preliminary events and judging, ending with the competition June 23. The pageant is part of the Miss America organization.
