A Flashback to the ’80s event starts at 7 p.m. on Lafayette Square, where the band Doublewide Revival will play popular songs from the 1980s, a costume contest at 8:30 p.m. followed by a showing of the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” Participants for the costume contest need to register at the Downtown Development Authority tent between 7 and 7:30 p.m.
A senior dance is at 7 p.m. at the old Franklin Elementary School gym with a live band. Admission is $4.

A benefit ride to help with the medical expenses of Aiden Christopher Pike, who was born two months premature at Mike Patton Auto Mall on Lafayette Parkway. The Lagrange Troup County Humane Society’s 11th annual Fur Ball; Peace Love and Paws is 7 p.m. at Lafayette Garden Inn. Live entertainment and a silent auction will be held.
