Mrs. Trammell, a native of Harris County, was born March 22, 1944 and was the daughter of Catherine Gay and the late Douglas Bryant Sr. At an early age, she accepted Christ and was a faithful servant.
She leaves to cherish a very loving and devoted family, her loving husband of 36 years, Phillip Trammell, LaGrange; mother, Catherine Wilson, Baltimore, Md.; four daughters, Dorothy (Joseph) Bryant, Treva Denise Bryant, Latiesha (Branton) Trammell, Sharwanda Starr Trammell, all of LaGrange; one son, Phillip (Sherry) Trammell, LaGrange; six grandchildren, Jerrell, Marquesa, DeAndrea Bryant, Brantorian, Jatorian, Latoria Truitt; two sisters, Mattie J. Evans, Sunnyvale, Calif.; Iris Bryant Carr, Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Douglas Bryant, Columbus; Carl Bryant, Douglas Bryant Jr., Alton Bryant, Chicago, Ill.; step-mother, Lurlene Bryant, Chicago, Ill.; four sisters-in-law, Betty (Clarence) Ransom, Minister Lucille (Robert) McGhee, Pine Mountain; Cora Trammell, Pauline (Jerry) McDaniel, LaGrange; five brothers-in-law, Addie (Vivian) Trammell, LaGrange; Apostle Louis (Evan. Josephine) Trammell, Arthur (Christine) Copeland, Johnny (Sarah) Grier, Roosevelt (Cynthia) Trammell; special god-daughter, Kimberly Towns; special god-son, Keith Vaughn; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The celebration of life service will be Saturday, February 21st at 1:00 PM at the Williams Grove Church of Deliverance in Pine Mountain. Apostle Louis Trammell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Dorothy Bryant at 150 Turner Street, Tall Pine Apartment B111.
