Johnathan Moss, 28, of Cross Creek Drive was charged Thursday night with pointing a gun at another, simple assault and battery, criminal damage to property and felony theft.
Police gave this account:
A woman said Moss grabbed her hair after an argument and slammed her into the side of a bathtub and punched a hole in a wall before beating her. She ran into a another room and locked the door while another woman distracted him. Moss left the house and got a gun from the victim’s car. He returned to the house and threatened to kill both women, who were hiding behind locked doors in separate rooms. The initial victim escaped through a window after Moss kicked the door down to the room. Moss then took her vehicle and fled after the second woman called police. Police stopped the vehicle several miles away.

Police arrested a man Thursday night on outstanding warrants in Dane County, Wis., on charges of second-degree sexual assault and obtaining a nude photo without consent.
John Washington, 26, of no determined address, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. in LaGrange, where he was working. Wisconsin lawmen notified LaGrange police of Washington’s whereabouts.
Thefts
An employee of T-Mobile at 141 Commerce Ave. said two women and a man stole three cell phones for a total value of $1,100 Thursday afternoon. The thieves browsed without asking questions or buying anything. After they left the store, the employee noticed the phones missing. No arrests were made.
