Mrs. Annie Clyde Maddox Williams of LaGrange passed away Friday at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Williams, a native of LaGrange, was born March 22, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Willie Maddox and Kate Asberry Maddox. She was retired from the Kex Plant of Milliken and Company.
Survivors include a loving and devoted son, Horace Williams Jr.; a loving and devoted daughter, Theresa Wiliams; a loving and devoted daughter-in-law, Jennelia Williams; grandsons: Brian, Justin, Austin, Darius, Demetrius and Malik Williams, all of LaGrange; granddaughters: Raven Williams, LaGrange; Kivondra Cox (Vic), LaGrange; Jessica Leftwich, Atlanta, Ga.; Tomeka Leftwich, Montgomery, Ala.; one great-granddaughter, Celine Williams, LaGrange; one sister, Marie Bruce (Minister James Bruce); three brothers: George Maddox, LaGrange; Thomas Maddox (Lizzie), LaGrange; Samuel Smith (Winifred), Atlanta, Ga.; brother-in-law: Henry Williams (Martha), Decatur, Ga; Eddie Lee Middlebrooks, Decatur, Ga.; Amos Wiliams (Minnie), Montgomery, Ala.; sister-in-law, Ethel Wilson (Ralph), Atlanta, Ga.; Hattie Williams, LaGrange; Shirley D. Williams, Decatur, Ga.; Christine Dunson, LaGrange; Martha Philpott, St. Petersburg, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Williams Jr. on March 20, 1994; and a brother.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 2:00PM at the Faith Temple Church of Deliverance on Edgewood Avenue. Rev. Gary L. Fanning will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Airy Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Theresa Williams at 324 Cross Creek Court.
