A concert in memory of 9/11 will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at LaGrange College’s Callaway Auditorium. Admission is free and tonight’s performance entitled “Music for Peace” will feature both local and international talents.
Taking the stage tonight will be an African-American choir, a Korean ladies’ choir in costume, a Mexican choir and band featuring children in costumes, the Gift of Love Youth Orchestra, a Chinese Erhu player and additional soloists, including Kevin Dunn, singes and pianists. This concert is the only one from Georgia that is joining 80 communities worldwide to promote peace through music.
Tonight’s program features many different voices and talents from around the world, but no matter the language the universal message is a resounding cry for World Peace.
