I want to say “Amen” to all that Bill Kennedy said in his letter on March 3.
Though there are many dark clouds upon the horizon nationally, I certainly see sunshine in LaGrange. I would add to Bill’s list of “uplifting” things: the charming historic houses, the square and all that goes on around it, a city and county government that appears to be well run, but most of all its people!
Everyone seems to greet me with a smile and I have found many interesting and loving friends here, thanks partly to Newcomers Club and St. Mark’s church. Bill mentions the many churches in LaGrange and I believe their preponderence has helped to make a loving spirit prevail in this town.
