Mrs. Lucile Y. Spradlin, age 92, of LaGrange passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012, at Twin Fountains Nursing Home.

Mrs. Spradlin was born May 3, 1920 in Randolph County Alabama, daughter of the late Benjamin Frank and Hattie Heard Fetner Young She was a member of East Vernon Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Jones, of LaGrange, daughter and son-in-law; Jan Cole and Richard Woodyard of Calhoun, Ga., son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin Charles and Charlene Cole of LaGrange, son, David Spradlin of LaGrange, sister-in-law, Zana Young of Oxford, Al., Grandchildren, Susan Hummel, Sherri Everett, Chuck Cole, Michelle Yarbrough, Randy Jones, Ricky Holloway, Josh Spradlin, 12 Great Grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Spradlin and a grandson Robbie Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Bro. Clayton Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the East Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to services from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or the family request contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Spradlin to East Vernon Baptist Church, 2918 Roanoke Road, LaGrange, Georgia 30240.
