The Salvation Army of LaGrange is taking applications for Christmas assistance until Friday.
Those interested in receiving assistance may apply between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. today, Wednesday and Friday, and 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army church at 806 Murphy Ave. Assistance is for children up to 12 years old.
Applicants need to provide picture identification for the head of household; proof of income and expenses; proof of custody if they are not the child’s biological parent; and the ages, birthdays, social security cards, and clothing and shoe sizes of the children.
No applications will be accepted after 1 p.m. Friday.
