The LaGrange Police Department partnered with the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, Troup County Sheriffs Office and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration to arrest Geovani Liborio Bautista, 30, of Atlanta on suspicion of trafficking methamphetamine into the LaGrange area, according to a police report.
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s office had received leads that Bautista would deliver a large amount of methamphetamine to a location inside of LaGrange.
The team of officials set up the delivery of methamphetamine to the Race Trac convenience store on Lafayette Parkway. Bautista arrived at the location with another occupant Martin Liborio Bautista, whose name and address is unknown, and 822 grams of suspected methamphetamine was recovered once they were searched. They were both arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
