After some other errands on Wednesday, I made a stop at Kroger to get a prescription filled and pick up some food items.
Later in the day the need for my checkbook resulted in discovery that my purse was nowhere to be found in the house. Needless to say I was in a panic since so many important ID’s and credit cards, as well as money were in it – along with the checkbook.
When I made a call to Kroger, you can imagine my relief and great rejoicing that it had been turned in to them. The person’s name was not known, preventing me from making a call to express my heartfelt ‘thank you’ for the thoughtfulness and honesty which was manifested.
There are so many news accounts of the errant deeds of people that it sometimes overshadows the good that is done with no acknowledgement.
