Thefts, Burglaries

• A man in the 300 block of Baileys Way said that someone went into his wife’s car and stole a Kenwood CD player valued at $200.

• An employee at LaGrange College said that someone stole $430 from her office.

Damages

• A resident of Troup Street said that someone damaged the side of his car causing more than $500 in damage.

• A woman said that someone threw eggs at her car at a parking lot in the 500 block of Revis Street causing less than $500 in damage.

Robbery

• A man said he pulled his truck over at the old Arby’s located at the intersection of West Lukken Industrial Drive and Troup Street, due to his truck overheating. As he was checking his vehicle, a male approached him, struck him in the face, took $140 in cash from his pocket, and fled from the location. The victim drove himself to the hospital. After speaking with police, he described the alleged suspect as a skinny, black male over six feet tall and was wearing a tan Carhatt jacket.
