Mrs. Vivian Hill Betts, of the Harrisonville Community, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born Feb. 9, 1926, in Heard County, Mrs. Betts was the daughter of the late Frank and Lera Morgan Hill. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County and was a member of Harrisonville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who cared dearly for her family, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved fishing and nature.

Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Teresa and John Harris of Harrisonville; son and daughter in-law, Robert L., Jr. (Bobby) and Dianne Betts of Jonesboro; sister and brother in-law, Mavis and Jack Dollar of Harrisonville; grandchildren, Jeremy Betts, Joel Betts and his wife Shannon, all of Atlanta, Amanda Harris Hamilton of Harrisonville, Katie Harris Owen of Carrollton; and great-grandchildren, Payton Hamilton, Emma Owen, Lilly Owen, Oliver Betts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Betts.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. W. T. Bates and Mr. Eddy Wood will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
