Mrs. Ellen Beatrice Wyatt May, age 90 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at West Georgia Hospice on Friday, November 16, 2012.

Funeral services for Mrs. May will be conducted on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. from the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Brett Mathews officiating. The interment will follow in the Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Georgia. The family will receive guests at the funeral home Sunday from 1-3 P.M. with service following.

Mrs. May was born on March 21, 1922, the daughter of the late Garvie Charles Wyatt and Lucy Beatrice Dunlap Wyatt Harrison. She was retired from the International Playtex Corporation in LaGrange, Georgia after 29 years of service, and later the Heard County Senior Center after eleven years of service when she was 77 years old. She loved working in the garden, playing the piano and was a avid reader. Her family was always treated to wonderful home cooked meals. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Screws of Newnan, GA., Fredda Gore (William ) also of Newnan, GA., and Kathy Jackson (Terry) also of Franklin, GA.; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Moore May, beloved daughter Linda May, and sister, Virginia Freeman.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, Georgia 30240 (www.wghealth.org).
