It’s obvious

At the risk of seeming to hang crepe, that distant sound is, I suspect, the death knell for our great social experiment.

Alexis de Toqueville warned about the consequences when the electorate discovers the ability to use their vote to raid the public coffers.

Is there a statistical correlation between the number of people receiving some sort of public assistance (approx. 50 percent) and the number who voted for a encore performance of four more years (also 50 percent)? Did the prevailing party buy the election with taxpayers money? Somethings in life are just immediately obvious.

Statistical correlations are interesting. Did you know that no Democratic candidate has carried white voters since 1964? Does that year ring a bell?

2012 is the year that Republicans learned they can't alienate and anger every voter segment but white/religious/racist and win.
