After two days of delay, the jury trial for the Peter Mallory trial began Wednesday morning.

The potential jurors entered the courtroom shortly before 9:30 a.m. Initially 42 jurors entered the room. After the questions pertaining to being biased, prejudice for or against, and having a preconceived opinion about the case were asked, three jurors raised their hands and were dismissed.

Attorney for the prosecution, Kevin McMurry, continued with more questions for the potential jurors to narrow down the selection. Some of the questions involved knowing people involved in the case and family of those involved in the case, which included Mallory’s family, witnesses, the LaGrange Police Department amongst a few. Jurors were also asked if they have watched TV-33, been on the show or have ever called into the show.

The attorneys in the case are expected to meet with the jurors individually to find out more specific information from those who raised their hands for the asked questions.

Jury trial in the case resumes today.

Peter Mallory is the former owner of TV-33.He was indicted earlier this year on 60 counts of sexual exploitation of children, three counts of invasion of privacy and one count of tampering with evidence after police found child pornography on a computer a his station and at his home.
