A man was robbed by two armed men Sunday morning.

According to a police report, officers arrived at a residence located in the first block of Railroad Street at about 1:53 a.m in response to a robbery that had just occurred. The victim told police that he had pulled into his driveway after passing two males that were walking in the roadway. Once the victim got out of his car, the two pushed him to the ground and began beating him.

The victim said that the suspects demanded money and threatened to shoot him if he did not comply. The victim then gave them $50 in cash and the suspects stole his LG touch screen phone valued at $200.

A detailed description could not be provided due to the victim’s face being held face down into the ground during the robbery. However, the victim does recall the suspects as being black males wearing black coats with hoods and baggy pants.
