The logos had been removed because Kia reportedly was not happy with the design, although the changed sparked fears among some that the company had decided to leave town. Kia project manager Mike Criddle said this week the new logo is to the company’s liking and is a little bigger than the first design.
‘The new Kia logo is larger than the old one - the words ‘Kia Motors’ were eliminated in favor of a more streamlined approach,’ Criddle said.
The words ‘West Point Georgia’ remain in the original location.
