Lorine Ware passed away January 3, 2013 at West Georgia Health.

She was born February 1, 1943 in Aiken County, Aiken, South Carolina; the third of five children born to the late Willie and Elizabeth Folks.

Lorine attended Scofield High School and moved to LaGange in 1966. After a brief stay in St. Louis, she returned to LaGrange in 1983. She was employed by MBM, where she retired.

She was a faithful and dedicated member of Wehadkee Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board until her health declined. She also served as head of the Kitchen Committee.

Survivors include six children: Lonnie (Eileen) Folks, NJ; Nancy (George) Hunt, Springfield, MO; Charles Ware II, LaGrange, GA; Joe Ware, ND; Lillie Ware, Charleston, NV; siblings: Gladys F. Holmes, Walter (Mary) Ben, Aiken, SC; Eartha Mae Simpkins, Philadelphia, PA; her dear sister-in-law who cared for her during her sickness, Ruby Nell Dukes, LaGrange, GA; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Wehadkee Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.
