Xanadu Road Productions presents “The Miracle Worker” at New Horizon Theatre. Proceeds from the production will go toward The Perkins Institute for the Blind and New Horizon Theatre. The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade starts at 1 p.m. at Granger Park and will pass Lafayette Square, ending at Boyd Park on Smith Street.

Monday

A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 11 a.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.
