Davis Williams passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, at West Georgia Health, LaGrange, Georgia.

Mr. Williams, a native of Phenix City, Alabama, was born May 3, 1937, and was the son of the late Willie D. Williams and Nincey Filmore Williams.

He was retired from the Sanitation Department for the City of Auburn, Alabama.

He united with the Christian Family of the New Macedonia Baptist Church, LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Eva M. Williams, LaGrange, GA; children: David (Diane) Williams, Opelika, AL; Derrick (Regina) Williams, Opelika, AL; Wayne Williams, Opelika, AL; Tyrone (Maxine) Williams, Columbus, GA; Victor (Gwendolyn) Williams, LaGrange, GA; Barry (Brandy) Williams, LaGrange, GA; twenty grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; three sisters: Willie Mae (Ben) Myhand, Ionia, MI; Minnie Perry, Syracuse, NY; Joanne Finley, Syracuse, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 2:00 PM at New Macedonia Baptist Church, LaGrange with Pastor Jerome Shipman officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
