Man robbed by sudden snatching

A man said that while in the 200 block of Hudson Street last night, an unknown black man snatched an undisclosed amount of currency from him and took flight.

He described the suspect as a black male, dark complexion, slim build, 5 feet, 11 inches in height, and wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and a black hat.

Thefts, Burglaries

• A man said a Steel chainsaw valued at $200 and a Husquarna chainsaw valued at $199.95 was stolen from the back of two City of LaGrange trucks, which his company uses.

• A woman in the 400 block of Pine Street said an unknown white male stole a green boy’s BMX style bike from her backyard. The male was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. The value of the bike is undetermined.

• A man in the 1000 block of Young’s Mill Road said that someone broke into and stole his mother’s red 1987 Chevrolet S-10.

• A man said that someone entered his 2003 Ford F-250 that was parked in a parking lot off of Forrest Avenue and stole a Garmin GPS valued at $100 and an Ithaca 20 gauge shotgun, valued at $1,500, from his backseat. The man said his truck was locked, but no signs of forced entry were determined.

Identity Fraud

• A man said that someone used his business’ checks through a Charter bank Account in the amount of $10,380 to GC Services Ltd. Partnership and for $1,412.90 to United Financial.
