Mrs. Mary Louise Callaway Adams, 91, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the West Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Adams was born December 27, 1921 in Woodbury, daughter of the late John and Jesse Callaway. She retired from Dunson Mills after 37 years of service, and also a member of First Baptist Church on The Square

Survivors include daughters; Bonnie Adams, Becky (Richard) Scott both of LaGrange, Bobbe (Ron) Holmes of San Clemente, Ca., five grandchildren, Scott Calhoun, Nicole Bird, Whitney Scott, Candice Scott, Alexandria Scott, four great grandchildren, Luke Anderson, Stephanie Bird, Bryanna Bird, and Bailey Bird. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Adams, brothers, John Callaway Jr., Jack Callaway, and a sister, Mildred Phelps.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2:00 Wednesday at the Chapel of Faith Baptist Church, located at 552 Hammett Road, LaGrange. In lieu of flowers it is suggested contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Adams to Meals on Wheels at First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1127,LaGrange, GA 30241.
