On Monday, a day I stood proud to be an American!
The Brits have their coronations and their royal weddings. But we, in the United States, can each feel a part of the peaceful transition of power. We have our own marvelous pageantry. It was all done with grace and panache, displaying the great diversity of America. As we move forward from the chaos of 2012, I believe, as the president said, “We do not have to choose between the generation of those who built America and those who seek to build its future.” Let us pray that those elected to serve will help to build that future with statesmanship and honor. God bless America and God bless President Barak Obama.
