The Lady Cavaliers finished with a 14-7 overall record, and they’re 9-5 in Region 4-AAA.

The Lady Cavs were up 12-2 after the first quarter, 34-7 at the half, and 49-14 through three periods.
Jamonica Dean led the way with 10 points, and Terriyunna Dunson added nine points.
LAGRANGE HIGH: The Lady Grangers finished off a regular-season sweep of Carrollton with a 58-47 road victory Friday night.
The Lady Grangers (19-5 overall) carry a 9-4 Region 5-AAAA record into today’s regular-season finale at Columbus.
If LaGrange wins, it will be the number three seed for next week’s region tournament.
Brittany Tatum led the way against Carrollton with 23 points, and Steara Mitchell added 17 points.
The Lady Grangers were down 11-9 after the first quarter, and the game was tied 20-20 at the half, and LaGrange was up 34-33 through three periods before taking control late.
LaGrange was 18-of-29 from the free-throw line.
TROUP: The Lady Tigers secured the number seven seed for next week’s Region 5-AAAA tournament with a 35-30 victory over Shaw Friday night.
It was tough going early, with Shaw taking a 3-0 lead after the first quarter, and a 15-10 lead at the half.
The Lady Tigers got within one through three periods before dominating things in the fourth quarter.
“We were awful in the first half,” Troup head coach Carla Thornton said. “We played a lot better in the second half.”
DeeDee Sanders led Troup with 15 points, and Tamayah Potts added 12 points.
LAGRANGE ACADEMY: The Lady Warriors handled Furtah Prep 47-36 Friday night.
The Lady Warriors were up by one at the half, and they outscored Furtah 26-16 in the second half.
Fannasy Garrett-Hammett led LaGrange Academy with 22 points, and Tazsa Garrett-Hammett added 13 points.
