Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Weddings of West Georgia: Something Old, Something New until April 20 with wedding dresses, shoes, veils, announcements, invitations and newspaper reports used to spotlight love and weddings in West Georgia from the 1800s to the present. Admission is free. The museum is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge. For more information, call 706-884-1828.

Retrospective: Photographs by Douglas Kirkland is on display at LaGrange Art Museum, featuring the photography of the noted Hollywood celebrity photographer, in the Cochran Gallery through April 27. 809 Gallery of Art, 809 Hill St., hosts Student Exhibition 2013 with art by local students until March 30. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Story Hour featuring stories, fingerplays, songs and rhymes for preschoolers and their escorts is at 10:30 a.m. at Hawkes Library in West Point.

Moonlight Dance Club hosts a beginner tango lesson and a couples dance at LaFayette Christian School gym, 1904 Hamilton Road. The Beginner Tango lesson with instructor Sally Estes is 7 p.m. and couple’s dance is 8 p.m. Attire is dressy casual. All are welcome at $20 per couple. 706-884-5857

Mike Cunningham, owner of Country Garden Farms, hosts a class at 10 a.m. at Hills and Dales Estate where he shares his approach to eating locally grown, organic food. Participants will get sources for local and regionally grown food and each participant will leave with a bag of fresh greens and a root crop. Cost is $30 per person. Workshop space is limited and pre-registration is required. Garden admission is included in registration. Annual pass holders receive a 20 percent discount. The LaGrange Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority hosts 2013 National Impact Day to fight obesity from noon to 2 p.m. with activities and snacks at the William Griggs Recreation Center, 716 Glenn Robertson Drive. Marcus Pollard, a former NFL player and former cast member on “The Amazing Race” TV show will be special guest.

Ralphy Lynch and Friends perform Patsy Cline music with Cynthia Southerd at 7 p.m. at The Active Life on Ragland Street. Open to all adults. Admission is $5.

Older Americans Sharing in Service, the senior adult group of Rosemont Baptist Church, meets at noon in the church fellowship hall.
