Mr. James Robert Upchurch, age 70, of LaGrange, died on March 13, 2013 at the LaGrange Nursing and Rehab.

Mr. Upchurch was born in Troup County on August 12, 1942 to the late James Upchurch and Frances Mostellar Upchurch. He worked for many years as an insurance salesman for the United Insurance Company.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Woodruff Upchurch of LaGrange; brother, Alex Upchurch; sisters, Joanne Holsombeck and her husband Ken and Arlene Carter and her husband David; step children, Richard Keith Flournoy, William Joseph Hollis and Tanya Leah Hollis; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013, at 3:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Aaron McCullough officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
