The Callaway Cavaliers will get a chance to exact some revenge from the Heard County Braves a day earlier than expected.
With more rain in the forecast for Tuesday, the Cavs’ game with Heard County has been moved to today.
The two Region 5-AA foes will meet at Callaway at 5:30 p.m.
In their season opener, the Cavaliers were beaten 11-1 by Heard County in Franklin.
Heard County (10-2 overall) brings a 6-0 region record into today’s game.
Callaway (6-3), which has lost two straight since following up the Heard Loss with six straight wins, is 3-2 in the region, good enough for a third-place tie with Lamar County.
Pike County is tied with Heard County for first place at 6-0.
Callaway hosts Macon County on Friday, a team it beat 11-0 earlier in the season.
Callaway plays a doubleheader in Bowdon Saturday against Aquinas and Bowdon.
