Mrs. Lizzie Mae Kistler, 88, of LaGrange, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Hospice LaGrange.

Born September 2, 1920, in Meriwether County, Mrs. Kistler was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Elizabeth Hendricks Barintine. She lived in Troup County most of her life, attended the Baptist church, and was the wife of the late Freddie Lee Kistler.

Survivors include daughters and son in-law. Mary Ann Pressley and Linda and Richard Batchelor, all of LaGrange; step-son, Terry Kistler of Glenn; four grandchildren, Steve and Amy Pressley and Lynn and Alex Wilson, all of LaGrange, Ronnie and Lorraine Batchelor of Valley, AL, and Rickey and Cindy Batchelor of Corinth; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Revs. James Moon and Jimmy Little will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 tonight.
