Man hurt in wreck

Terrance Boykin, 28, of Newnan was injured in an accident at the intersection of New Franklin Road and Bob Williams Drive on Monday afternoon.

His vehicle swerved out of the turning lane on New Franklin Road into the path of another vehicle headed the same direction.

Boykin was treated at West Georgia Medical Center and released. He was cited for failure to maintain lane.

Burglaries, thefts

— A thief stole $1,606 of electronic items, including a stereo system, from a car in the 100 block of Plymouth Drive on Monday night.

— A thief stole $200 and 14 fishing rods valued at $1,400 from a residence in the 4000 block of White Oak Lane on Monday night. The owner’s neighbor saw an unidentified man place the fishing rods in a car and drive off.

— A shotgun valued at $300 was stolen from the back seat of a truck in the 800 block of North Greenwood Street Monday morning.
