Workers prepare the new pedestrian bridge linking LaGrange College’s main campus with parking lots south of Vernon Street.
To be known as the Gulley Gateway, the pedestrian bridge links new campus parking with the Lewis Library and should be nearly complete by this weekend’s event, which will be held along the east side of the library.
College officials are hoping that contributions to its Bridge to the Future drive will fund the cost of the structure; $66,000 remains to be raised.
