Bill Bryant was named assistant principal for Callaway Middle School. Bryant received a bachelor of arts degree in middle grades education from LaGrange College. He has been employed with Troup County school system since 1998. He currently serves as registrar at Callaway Middle School, where he was previously a teacher.
Tammy Glenn will fill the role of assistant principal at West Side Magnet School. Glenn received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Auburn University. She received a master’s degree, as well as an educational specialist degree in elementary education from Troy State University. She is currently registrar and graduation coach at West Side Magnet School.
Glenn began her employment with the Troup County school system in 2001 at Long Cane Elementary School, after having taught with the Lanett City School System and Opelika City School System in Alabama. She was formerly Title I Specialist before transferring to West Side Magnet School.
Marion Sankey was named instructional specialist for Unity Elementary School. Sankey is a graduate of Winthrop University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in education. She received a master’s degree in elementary education and a certificate in leadership from Troy State University. She holds a specialist degree in leadership from Troy State University.
Currently, Sankey is a Title I support specialist and has been employed with Troup County school system since 2006. Previously she worked with Opelika Schools and Dothan City Schools.
Filling the position of instructional specialist at Callaway Elementary School will be Christina Grace. Grace is a graduate of Auburn University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She received a master’s degree and education specialist degree from Troy State University.
Grace is currently a teacher at Long Cane Middle School and previously taught at Berta Weathersbee Elementary School. She began her employment with Troup County schools in 1996.
Lesia Ansaldo was named registrar for Long Cane Middle School. Ansaldo received a bachelor of arts degree in middle grades education from LaGrange College and a master’s degree in educational administration from Troy State University.
Ansaldo has worked for Troup County school system since 2000 after previously teaching at Heard County High School. She currently serves as in-school suspension facilitator at Long Cane Middle School and taught eighth grade there as well. Previously, she was literacy coach at Mountville Elementary School.
