A woman was treated at West Georgia Medical Center and released for a cut suffered during an altercation with her ex-husband in the 100 block of Chatham Street on Sunday night.

Police gave this account: The woman went to pick up her 4-year-old daughter at her sister’s residence but found her ex had already taken the girl for Father’s Day. The woman then visited her ex-husband on Chatham Street. The man reached through the driver’s-side window and punched the woman as their daughter got into the vehicle. The man then kicked out the front passenger-side window, and the broken glass deeply cut the woman’s right arm.

Warrants for battery and third-degree cruelty to a child were issued, but no arrest was made.
