A pedestrian suffered a shotgun wound to his upper right thigh Thursday night

Jaquavious Trammell, 17, whose address was unavailable, was treated at West Georgia Medical Center and released . Police said several men approached Trammell while he was walking in the 500 block of Daniel Street. One of them had a shotgun and fired once before the men fled. Trammel was lying on a sidewalk when police arrived.

Burglaries, thefts

— A resident of the 200 block of East Mulberry Street said a thief stole a $350 air conditioning unit from outside his residence.

— A thief stole a purse containing $900 from a car in the first block of Barnard Avenue.

Assault

A LaGrange woman said the father of her 3-year-old girl punched her repeatedly while chocking her in front of the girl in the 500 block of Northwood Drive on Thursday night. No arrest was made.

Arrests

— Jonathan Barber, 22, of Robertson Road was charged with aggravated assault.

— Hogansville police charged Hugh Fluellen, 41, of Mableton and Mazell Fluellen, 38, of Hurtsboro, Ala., with trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime.

Vandalism

A vandal damaged the front window of a vacant business at 514 Miller St. on Thursday night.
