The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2009 at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Lilburn with Rev. Jim Landis officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur City Cemetery, Decatur.
A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Rumble graduated from Agnes Scott College in the Class of 1934 and was retired as an elementary school secretary in the City of Atlanta School System. She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church and of the Harmony Sunday School class.
Mrs. Rumble was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Douglas Rumble, Jr.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Susan Holle Rambin Rumble of Lawrenceville and Douglas and Karen Rumble, III of Chevy Chase, MD; grandchildren, Ann Rumble, Kenneth Rumble, Holle Knowles, John Charles Rumble, and Mary Beth Rumble; great-grandchildren, Johnnie Mae Martin, Violet Rumble, Isabella Knowles and Trystan Knowles; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 29, 2009 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church.
