Police gave this account: The men knocked on the woman’s front door about 3:50 a.m. When the woman cracked open the door to see who was there, they forced it open and ordered her to the ground. One of the men held her at gunpoint on the ground while the others grabbed a 27-inch flat-screen TV and a Sony PlayStation. The thieves then fled on foot.

Burglaries, thefts
— The owner of the Boxing Club at 300 E. Depot St. said a thief damaged a $300 air-conditioning unit and stole $20 from his business Saturday night.
— The owner of Jalisco Supermarket at 310 Green-ville St. said a thief damaged a glass side door of his business and stole $70 from a cash register. Damage to the door was estimated at $250.
— A thief stole a wallet containing a credit card, a driver’s license and a $500 purse containing a cell phone and iPod from a truck in the 2700 block of Mooty Bridge Road.
Aggravated assault arrests
— Jackie McCullough, 39, whose address was not available, was charged with aggravated battery. Police said McCullough cut a woman’s face during an altercation in the 100 block of Wright Street on Sunday morning.
— West Point police charged Emery Martin, 20, and Jacklyn Johnson, 23, both of Lanett, Ala., with aggravated assault.
— Jacqueline McCauley, 40, of Arizona Street was charged with aggravated battery.
