An employee of Commercial Hood Cleaning in Carrollton reported the damaged hoods about 3:30 a.m. Saturday. He said several large pieces had been taken from the kitchen to the parking lot to be cleaned when they were run over.
Police found a cab driver nearby with a flat tire who first said he picked up a woman at the restaurant and thought he ran over trash in the parking lot. The driver later said no lights were on in the parking lot and he didn’t mean to run over the hoods.
