Deborah Hoggatt LeGodais, 58, of LaGrange died of natural causes Thursday, July 23, 2009 at home.

Mrs. LeGodais was born Sept. 21, 1950 in Memphis, Tenn., daughter of Genevieve K. Weston and the late Willis Clyde Hoggatt. She was married to the late Thomas J. LeGodais for 32 years. She was a member and youth advisor at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange and a member of the Willowwood Garden Club. Mrs. LeGodais was a kindergarten assistant for four years at Franklin Forest Elementary. Previously, she worked 19 years at St. Mark’s Kindergarten. She was a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in finance.

Mrs. LeGodais’ love of life was like a ray of sunshine spreading happiness to all whose lives she’s touched.

Survivors in addition to her mother, Ginny Weston, include two daughters and sons-in-law Lauren and Carl White and Leanne and Jarrod Lloyd; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Laurie Hoggatt; mother-in-law, Ann LeGodais; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rick and Maryjane LeGodais.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange with Dr. Douglas DeCelle officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial service.

The family respectfully requests all flowers be omitted and contributions be made to First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, 120 Broad St, LaGrange, Ga. 30240.
