An inmate at the Troup County Jail was charged with crossing a guard line with drugs after he was found by a guard with marajuana.

Deputies’ reports said Joshua Mark Tucker, of Cleveland Avenue in LaGrange, was found with the drug. He’d been in jail since June 8 on a marajuana possession charge and probation violation.

Arrest

Troup County drug investigators charged Chester Arty Green III, of Corinth Road, with possession of methamphetamine and another misdemeanor drug charge after searching his home. Officers had received information Green was selling drugs at his house.

Theft

A Deer Pointe Court resident told deputies that a $500 troller with foot control was stolen from his boat while it was in the driveway.
