Sgt. Mark Cavender said a white male entered the BB&T office at 310 Broad St. about 10 a.m. and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled.
Details were unavailable, but officers questioned witnesses and watched security tapes in hopes of identifying the robber.
“Hopefully, we’ll have more than we have now,” he said.
