Mr. Hubbard, a native of LaGrange, was born April 18, 1946 and was the son of the late Jessie Mae Boyd and Arthur Hubbard Sr.He was a 1965 graduate of Ethel W. Kight High School and was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.He retired from Ford Motors after 30 years of service and was a long-time barber. He was a faithful and devoted member of Union Springs Baptist Church which he joined early in life.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Irene Dudley Hubbard, LaGrange; two children, Terence Jackson and Connie Yvette Sheree Hubbard; six grandchildren, Brian, Tishanna, Tianna, Tanisha, Toryian and Torrianna Jackson; two brothers, Scottie (Gail) Boyd, Atlanta; Joffa (Linda) Hubbard, LaGrange; three sisters, Glenda Anderson, Linda Davis, both of LaGrange; Jeanette (Arthur) Williams, Atlanta; four aunts, Lola Snellings, Robbie Boyd, Pinkie (Eddie) Philpot, Louise Hill; three uncles, Lum (Sheila) Boyd, Kenneth and Donald Boyd; nieces, nephews and friends; special friend, Wilbur Miller; dear friend, Jarvis Green; brothers-in-law, Alton, James, Michael, and Norman Harris and Sanford Heard; sisters-in-law, Freddie Magby, Jean Harris, Gail McCord and Laurie Johnson.
The celebration of life service will be Saturday at 2:30 PM at the Union Springs Baptist Church.Rev. Henry Hudson will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Springs Cemetery.
The family will be at their home.
