Funeral services for Ms. Sandra L. ‘BooBoo’ Heard, 49, of LaGrange, will be held today, August 19, 2009 at 2:30 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, GA with the Revs. Darrell Heard, W.T. Edmondson, Rev. Michael Jackson, Minister Stephanie McQueen and Minister Catherine Heard, Officiating. Interment will be held in the Marseilles Cemetery.

Ms. Heard passed Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Emory University Hospital.

She was a member of the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, West Point, GA. Ms. Heard was preceded in death by father, William Scott.

She is survived by a devoted companion, Marcus Williams, LaGrange; two daughters, LaSonya Heard, Carrollton; Diedre Heard, LaGrange; one son, Kevin Heard, Statesboro, GA; mother, Lula Mae Heard, LaGrange; two grandchildren, Quintero McDaniel, Jr., LaGrange; Akoye’ Winston, Carrollton; one sister, Valerie Heard, LaGrange; five brothers, Russell Heard (Catherine), Indianapolis , IN; Darrell Heard, Houston, TX, James Heard, Robert Heard, LaGrange, Mike Scott, Atlanta; two uncles, Robert Heard, Samuel Heard

(Linda), West Point; one special nephew, Denatay Heard, LaGrange; one special niece, JoQuona Heard, Tuscaloosa, AL; three nieces, one great niece, six nephews and an array of cousins and other relatives and friends.

The remains will lie in state at the church today from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour.
