The Dixie Youth AAA World Series Champions, the 9-10 Troup Nationals, will be fundraising today and Saturday for their trip to the National Youth Baseball Championship in Memphis, Tenn., set Aug. 27-29.

Team members will be on Lafayette Square in downtown LaGrange from 5 to 6:15 p.m. and 7 to 8:45 p.m. today before the Flicks on the Bricks movie showing. On Saturday, they will set up from 1-3 p.m. at Highland Marina, during the West Point Lake Coalition’s Poker Run.

Donations also may be sent to the Troup County Parks and Recreation, 1220 Lafayette Parkway, LaGrange, in care of Team Georgia.

“We would like to thank the entire community for the incredible support of this team. We hope we can continue to positively represent Troup County, the city of LaGrange and the state of Georgia,” coach Jay Anderson said.
