Police went to the residence of the victim and Willie Hall in the 700 block of South Greenwood Street and found the victim, 47, with a stab wound to his left arm. The victim wasn’t taken to the hospital for his injury, 911 operators said.
Police said the victim and Hall were fighting over a debt when Hall produced a knife and stabbed the other man.
Officers found Hall at some nearby railroad tracks within minutes of the stabbing, police said.
Hall, 54, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a knife in the commission of a crime.
