Dear Editor:

Wow! Unbelievable! Exciting! Patriotic!

If you were not on the Square in downtown LaGrange Labor Day for the LaGrange Patriots T.E.A. Party you missed it! Our count was 3,000 plus! The weather was hot but beautiful. The people were excited and anxious for their voices to be heard. It was emotional time for all of us.

There are so many people we need to thank and out of fear of leaving someone out let us just say thank you for everything that anybody did to contribute to the cause. Most of all thank you to the wonderful people who showed up with signs, flags and their great big hearts full of love and concern for our country. We could not have done it without all of you! We love and thank you for your support and kind words of encouragement.

This is not the end! We are already working on some forums and will get the word out when these are set up. Visit our website (http://www.lagrangepatriots.org) anytime for updates and information on our activities as well as scenes from the T.E.A. Party.

Thank you again and God bless America!

Hilda Railey for the steering committee,

LaGrange Patriots

You stated

"How do you know the individuals that are part of the Tea Party were not upset with these events? You don't."

If they were upset i don't remember a tea, coffe, soda pop party on the the square, and as far as the liberal stab in the back , sorry no tears of shame there, i proclaim to be a voter whom votes for who or what i think is right,i don't need a patriot , liberal, or conservative label to justify my beliefs, not being brain washed by the media or so called groups such as your dear patriots. And by the way i voted for George Bush because i thaught at the time he was a better candidate than John Kerry , know i diidn't act like an idiot and march on the square gainst him him why do a 360 and join a hate group against Obama.

Hint:: you may need to ask yourself that one when no one is watching!!!!!

Now if you think you wittle tea party(undercover rally) worked than you wrong, the good old boy southerners do not matter anymore in the presidential race , so complain all you won't drink your little hatred tea and we will see who wins again in 2012.

Come on tea party patriots ,admit your worse fears a black man now the president of the country you live , how can this happen on the patriots watch. Is this what we won't LaGrange Georgia to on national tv for, a hate rally,

Well the bible states this shall be so.

Luke 13:30 "And behold, some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last."

obamasupporter,

Are you talking about the Patriot Act that Obama has kept in place and even expanded parts of it? The Iraq War, though not popular was the right thing to do. Are you as angry at Obama over Afghanistan as you are at Bush about Iraq?

How do you know the individuals that are part of the Tea Party were not upset with these events? You don't. You just do as most liberals do and group all conservatives into one mindset. Even if they were not opposing Bush's policies, if they were wrong then, are the same policies wrong now that Obama is in office?

Are you on the square demanding the president "bring the troops home now?" Are you marching in protest over the record high unemployment rates? Why isn't Obama in Atlanta conforting those effected by the floods? Liberal hypocrisy.

“You cannot become thorough Americans if you think of yourselves in groups. America does not consist of groups. A man who thinks of himself as belonging to a particular national group in America has not yet become an American.”

Woodrow T. Wilson quote

Why didn't the patriots complain about any of the Bush policies , patriot act, iraq war, high gas prices, lost jobs, hurricane katrina disaster etc, you guys realy need to get down on your knees and ask GOD,am i doing this for the right reasons.

Asking people to make donations--whether voluntary or not--does nothing but reveal the hypocrisy of the REAL agenda behind these types of organizations. I'm all for people expressing their opinions and being inspired to change things, but there is a much simpler way we can do it without all this hoopla. Its called Voting!
