Mr. Jones, a native of Coweta County, was born September 2, 1954 and was the son of the late Ralph Jones and Mary Catherine Wright Jones. He was a brick layer.
Survivors include two sisters, Vera M. Jones, LaGrange; Regina Bradford, Sharpsburg; two daughters, Felicia and Nicole Green, LaGrange; his fiancee, Sandra Smith, LaGrange; four nephews and three nieces; many other family members and dear friends.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, East 10th Street in West Point. Apostle Calvin Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery in LaGrange.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Vera Jones at 502 Miller Street and will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 until 8.
Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
